From my illustrated world
Swan pond
A quiet dance on dark water.
Ivory swans drift between golden reeds and pink water lilies. Deep chocolate brown gives the water richness and lets the pale birds glow.
A closer look
Colour, shape & little details.
Flat, gouache-like shapes and delicate decorative marks give the design a storybook feel. Curving necks and branching foliage bring movement through the composition.
Let the quiet things catch your eye.
